The Ramayana, ek prachin Hindu mahakavya hai jo muni Valmiki ke naam se jana jata hai. Yah prem, kalpanikta, balidan aur acche aur bure ke beech ki jeet ki kahani hai. Ram Raja Dasharath aur Rani Kaushalya ke sabse bade putra hai. Nagari Ram ke janm par anandit hoti hai. Jab Ram bade hote hain, toh ve dharm, sahas aur gunvatta ka pratik ban jate hain, jisse Ayodhya ke logon ke dil jeet lete hain.
Jab Ram balpan se jawani tak badhte hain, tab Raja Dasharath rajgaddi tyag karne aur Ram ko apna uttaradhikari bana dene ka nirnay leta hai. Haan lekin, Rani Kaikeyi, Dasharath ki doosri patni, apni naukrani Manthara ke prabhav mein aakar, apne putra Bharat ko rajyaadhipati banane aur Ram ko chaudeh saal ke vanvaas mein nirvasit karane ki maang karti hai.
Raja ke virodh ke bawjood, Ram is vanvaas ko svikar karte hain, jisse unki kartavyanishtha aur pitaji ke vachan ke prati unka atoot samarpit pradarshit hota hai. Unki patni Sita aur unke vafadar bhai Lakshmana unke saath van mein jate hain.
Book 2: Ayodhya Kanda (Ayodhya Ki Kitab)
Ayodhya mein, Raja Dasharath ke anya putra Bharat apne matapita ke nagar se lautata hai aur Ram ke vanvaas ke bare mein jaankar vyathit hota hai. Vah rajgaddi ko svikar nahi karta aur Ram ko vaapas lane ke liye nikal padta hai.
Isi beech, Ram, Sita aur Lakshmana van mein ek saral aur sanyasi jeevan jiye, rishiyon, tapasviyon aur vibhinn pauranik praniyon ke saath sampark karte hain. Ek din, ek rakshasi Shurpanakha Ram se mohit ho jati hai aur unki taraf pyaar karti hai. Jab uski prarthana asafal hoti hai, toh usne Sita par svabhiman se hamla kar deti hai. Pratikriya ke roop mein, Lakshmana uska nak aur kaan kaat deta hai.

Book 3: Aranya Kanda (Van Ki Kitab)

Sugriva Ram ki sahayata mein Vali, Sugriva ke atyantatmak bhai ko parajit karne ke liye ladne mein sahayata karne par sahamati dete hain. Ram Sugriva ki sahayata karke Vali ko parajit karta hai aur Sugriva apni rajdhani vapas pa leta hai.
Book 4: Kishkindha Kanda (Kishkindha Ki Kitab)
Sugriva ki sahayata se, Ram ke bandar aur bhaliyo ki sena Sita ko dhundhne ke liye mahasangharsh shuru karti hai. Hanuman, apni asaadharan shakti aur bhakti ke saath, talash mein ek mukhya vyakti ban jata hai. Vah samudra paar kar Lanka tak pahunchta hai aur Ashok Vatika mein bandhi Sita ko dhoondhta hai.
Hanuman Sita ko Ram ki turant bachao ki pushti karta hai aur vah uske pati mein vishwas aur asha deti hai. Hanuman phir Lanka mein laute aur vahaan Ram ke baare mein mahatvapurn jankari deta hai. Ram, apni bandaron ke saath, jismein veerangana Angada aur Jambavan ke netritva mein hote hain, Ravana ke khilaf yudh karne ke liye tayyar hota hai.
Book 5: Sundara Kanda (Sundar Ki Kitab)
Ram ki sena Hanuman aur uske bandar yoddhao ki sahayata se Setu naamak pul banati hai, samudra ko paar karne aur Lanka tak pahunchne ke liye. Lanka mein, Hanuman Sita ko Ram ki pyaar aur samarthan pahunchata hai, use asha aur sahanubhooti pradaan karta hai.

Ram, dharm ke prati apni bhakti aur Sita ke prati apne prem se prerit hokar, apne yoddha ke roop mein apne aseem kshamataon ka pradarshan karte hain. Vah Ravana ke saath ek kathor yudh mein aakarshan karte hain, jahan dono taraf devi astron ko istemal karte hain aur mahasangharsh mein jude hain.
Ram ant mein Ravana ko parajit karte hain aur apne divya ban se uske hriday ko chhedte hain. Ravana, apne aparadhon ka ahsaas karke, prashansa karta hai aur apne antim samay mein Ram ki mahima ko prashansa karta hai, phir antim sans liya.
Book 6: Yuddha Kanda (Yudh Ki Kitab)
Vijayi yuddh ke baad, Ram, Sita aur Lakshmana Hanuman aur unke vafadar saathiyon ke saath Ayodhya ki or lautte hain. Ayodhya ke log unki lautne par anandit hote hain aur Ram ka rajyabhishek karne ke liye taiyari shuru ho jaati hai, jo unki sahi rajdharma ke roop mein svikar kiya jata hai.
Haan lekin, Sita ke apaharan ke dauran uske pavitrata par sandeh paida hote hain. Ram, Sita ke prem aur apne prajajano ke ummeedon ke beech tukade ho jate hain, use pavitrata ka pariksha lena decide karte hain. Devta agni se prakat hote hain aur Sita ki pativratya ka praman dete hain aur uski masoomiyat ka praman dete hain. Ram, pashchatap se bhara hokar, Sita ko poori tarah svikar karte hain aur uski atoot nishtha ka samman karte hain.
Book 7: Uttara Kanda (Uttar Ki Kitab)
Uttara Kanda, mool Ramayana ki addendum ke roop mein mani jaati hai, jismein Rama ki Ayodhya vapas lautne ke baad ghatit ghatnaon ka varnan hota hai. Rama ka dharmik aur nyayik raja ke roop mein rajy sabha rogiyon ke sandehon ke karan vyarth ho jata hai, jahan Sita ki apahriti ke dauran uski pavitrata par shanka ki jati hai.
Haan lekin, Rama Sita ki nirdoshata par vishwas rakhta hai, lekin usse apne prajajano ke sandehon ka samadhan karna zaruri samjha jata hai. Is par Sita, aaropon se tod marod kar, apni m
